Tailgate/Game Notes

The final home tailgate of the 2009 football season was upon us and as is tradition, included the annual chili cook off!  We had 8 entries this year and the after the blind votes were counted, fellow tailgater Nate Friedman takes the chili championship this year.  Scott & Matt provided a "Thanksgiving feast" complete with a smoked & deep fried turkey, mashed potatoes, green bean casserole, yams, and fresh baked rolls.  Thanks to everyone who brought something not just for this tailgate but all year.  A special thanks to everyone who helps with the tailgate setup and more importantly the take down/clean up.  We hope everyone enjoyed this season!

As for the game, the Utes jumped on the Aztecs early and often.  They scored all of their 38 points in the first half and coasted to an easy 38-7 win setting up showdown in Provo next week.  For a complete game recap click here
