Tailgate/Game Notes

A gorgeous November fall Saturday treated the Cowpokes to an old fashioned whoopin' Utes style!  On tap for the tailgate menu was Jambalaya which with the help of Diane Shaw was fantastic!  Attendees were estimated to be in the mid 20's which was honestly somewhat disappointing considering the excellent weather and current Ute win streak now at 6 wins!  Many brought side dishes: Hush puppies (Ashley), BBQ chicken wings (Nate), Cornbread (Allen T.) and thanks to all who showed up.

The game began with Wyoming attempting a fake punt which did not fool our Utes.  They scored on a Jerome Brooks run (he scored on a another run later) and never looked back.  RB-Darrell Mack ran for 97 yards and 2 scores while DL-Gabe Long recorded 3 sacks to lead the stellar Ute defense holding the Cowboys to 122 total yards.
